It was a happy Team VEIDEC who left Malmö yesterday evening. The two days of testing at VEIDEC Raceway was successful and provided the team with useful information about both the engine and the driving.

Rookie driver Karl Lyrén made six runs during Saturday and Sunday at VEIDEC Raceway. For the young driver all testing is an important way of getting more routine on the Pro Stock-bike. Although the results were of minor importance the team could see that Karl was driving as fast as on Santa Pod were he made his personal record just a week ago. But even more important than the results Karl was producing were all the data the team got from the engine during the weekend.
- The data we get when we test are much more useful than the one we get during a race. When we are testing we got time to analyze it and make some changes and look how it affects the bike, team manager Roger Lyrén says.
The track at VEIDEC Raceway was in perfect condition and the traction as good as in Santa Pod. This week the team will take the engine apart and work through it. All the data that the Team VEIDEC got from this weekend will help them and the driver in the forthcoming races.
