Over 13 400 spectators came to watch the Gothenburg City Race, the fourth race of the season in STCC (Swedish Touring Car Championship).

For VEIDEC and the other sponsors of the event it was an excellent opportunity to bring their clients and partners to an exciting race. The sold out arena could not host all the people who wanted to watch the race. Among others, three Danish busses full of racing enthusiasts had to turn back because they had not bought tickets in advance and could not get any tickets at the gates.

This was the third year as STCC raced on the docks in Gothenburg and for every year the STCC event attracts more and more people. And like the previous years the STCC races on Saturday in Gothenburg were exciting and dramatic. The Volvo-driver Robert Dahlgren won the first race and in the second the BMW-driver Richard Göransson was the fastest.  Dahlgren is now leading the Swedish championship after four races.
