Team VEIDEC had planned to do some testing in Sweden at the racetrack in Lindesberg this weekend. But due to rain the rookie driver Karl Lyrén could only walk the track, not drive his Pro Stock-bike.

The Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) is finding its audience after a slow start this year. In the second race of the season over 10 000 people came to Karlskoga Motorstadium to watch the race.
Managing Director Bob Huzell is also very happy about the ratings STCC gets on television.
The races are broadcasted on Viasat Motor-channel and so far over 200 000 people has watched each race on television. The races are broadcasted live but can also be seen later on other occasions.
- I´m very glad that the audience like our broadcasts. Last race we also had a lot of people in Karlskoga and I know that the next race in Gothenburg will attract a big audience as usual, Bob Huzell says.
This year STCC also has some co-operation with the Danish Championship. The series is called Scandinavian Touring Car Cup and attracted 26 cars on the grid in the premiere race at Jyllandsringen in Denmark. It is already clear that the decision to try to build a big Scandinavian Championship was the right one. This year the Cup consists of four races. Next year there may be more races in which both Danish and Swedish drivers compete in the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup.
