Team VEIDEC had planned to do some testing in Sweden at the racetrack in Lindesberg this weekend. But due to rain the rookie driver Karl Lyrén could only walk the track, not drive his Pro Stock-bike.
The mood in Team VEIDEC had a touch of the Bob Dylan song, Rainy day blues, after this weekend. Instead of doing some testing the team could only stand beside the race track. The surface of the track was not in top condition after heavy raining in Lindesberg the days before. The rookie of the team, Karl Lyrén was disappointed but he is not worried about the next race.
- We can do some testing at Santa Pod a couple of days before the race. So I´m not worried at all, Karl says.
The team will be leaving for England next Monday and the testing will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. For Karl Lyrén every opportunity to drive his new Pro Stock bike is valuable and he is looking forward to go to England.
- It is exiting. Although I have not driven on the track we got a lot of experience in the team, so it will be fun, Karl says.
